THE PROCEDURE:

 

  1. Tom Finlay Electrical will conduct a thorough electrical inspection of the property
  2. Thereafter a quotation for repairs, will be submitted to the seller via e-mail or facsimile (if there are repairs)
  3. Upon acceptance of our quote, a repair date will be booked with the relevant person (seller, tenant, supervisor)
  4. The repairs will be completed and thereafter the “Certificate Of Compliance” will be issued
     

    SHOULD OUR QUOTE NOT BE ACCEPTED:

    1. The appointed contractor is required to issue the ‘COC’
    2. The inspection fee remains payable
    3. In special cases, should Tom Finlay Electrical need to issue the COC, a full re-inspection will be carried out
    4. This “re-inspection” fee is billable at full cost, over and above the original inspection fee
    5. Any repairs required to be done in order for us to issue the “COC”; will also be billed for accordingly

       

      IMPORTANT NOTES:

      1. Any additional work to be carried out in any room that was un-accessible at inspection time will be quoted for separately
      2. If there is no power when we are on site doing repairs, a call out fee will be charged to return to site to test
      3. If a confirmed repair date booking is made, and we are not able to gain access a call out fee will be charged

         

        PAYMENT OPTIONS:

        1. Option 1 – Payment in full by conveyancer on transfer
        2. Option 2 – Payment by yourself
          *  Allowing you a 5% dicsount on repair fee only
          *  50% deposit to be paid prior to repairs
          *  Balance of payment due on completion of the repairs; prior to issuing the “COC”
